Over 100 kindergartners and many many parents making bread today at school. The fun and the memories with a few lessons too. No pictures- just imagine it for yourself! #WhES
This is Mrs. Little and one of her students completing their end of year assessment of foundational reading skills- DIBELS, including reading fluency. This student increased her fluency by 300% and her accuracy from 79% to 100%. What a celebration for them both. @fcpscanning

Tremendous performance tonight by the musicians of Parkway ES and Whittier ES Band and Orchestra during a collaborative performance at our gracious hosts at Frederick High School. Gifted musicians and teachers and great community support= success. #FCPS
This is School Resource Officer James Clark. We love having him support our schools. He’s been patrolling traffic around the school and reminding people to observe posted speed limits and stop signs. Heed his advice and take it easy when driving around children (and adults too)
Our Art teachers, some 5th graders, their parents, some PTA parents, with a kind donation from Ruppert Landscaping, beautified our W out front. The rocks were painted by Whittier students under the guidance of Mrs. Stiegler and Ms. Pope. Thanks for your service to the community.
Rocking our Whittier socks to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day! I am grateful that I get to spend my day with so many amazing people! #WDSDatFCPS#LotsOfSocks#WorldDownSyndromeDay
