BREAKING: Donald Trump pounces on the horrific New Orleans truck attack to push his anti-immigrant agenda based on lies about the identity of the attacker.

This is as shameless as it gets...

"When I said that the criminals coming in are far worse than the criminals we have in our country, that statement was constantly refuted by Democrats and the Fake News Media, but it turned out to be true," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Despite Trump's insinuation to the contrary, the alleged attacker is not an undocumented immigrant. The Guardian reports that the man in question, Shamsud Din Jabbar, is a U.S. citizen and Texas resident.

"The crime rate in our country is at a level that nobody has ever seen before," Trump lied in his post. "Our hearts are with all of the innocent victims and their loved ones, including the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department. The Trump Administration will fully support the City of New Orleans as they investigate and recover from this act of pure evil!"

If Trump truly cared about the victims and their families, he wouldn't be rushing to exploit this tragedy for political gain.
