Here's an excellent recap by the @FD1conference team of my recent talk, "Beyond AI Literacy" — summarized by Claude, with the full article in the thread.🧵
1. AI is a technology transformation, not just a tool. It follows the same pattern as the printing press and computers — today's jobs become tomorrow's tasks.
2. People teams are at the center of the shift, with two priorities: defining how AI applies to their specific organization, and using AI to improve workflows — both under a highly compressed timeline.
3. You should follow this cycle: assess, develop, deploy. Assess skills through hands-on simulations rather than multiple-choice quizzes; develop AI literacy at scale with continuous measurement since people learn at different paces and literacy varies by role; and deploy AI across the talent lifecycle as continual, embedded learning rather than a one-time initiative.
4. The winners will invest in people, not just tools. Organizations that succeed will be those that help their workforce adapt alongside AI.
In a new feature from @FD1conference Robin Harrison shares how today's customers own the conversation, and the companies that delivering on what they promise are on the right track to earning customer trust.
