Some new GB 🇬🇧 stamps today. A set of 6 Benham limited edition covers from 2011 were a welcome addition 😃 as was the 1989 The Times special edition fdc

A great day today with new additions from Nirlay Kundu. He produced these 6 USA 🇺🇸 cachets himself. I especially love the 2020 owl cover. These are all limited edition 😍. Also a nice group from South Africa 🇿🇦 & the latest USPS 🇺🇸 Bald Eagle covers.

A couple of late deliveries yesterday. Only my 5th Qatar 🇶🇦 bird cover 😍. 1993 (my oldest) and features falcons. The other is a 1967 Mauritius 🇲🇺 cover featuring Olive + Grey White-eyes & Rodrigues Fody. Both very welcome additions

A new set of 4 large Australian 🇦🇺 covers from 2009 & a set of 5 Russian 🇷🇺 Fleetwood covers from 1979 are the pick of today’s new additions. Also a lovely South Georgia 🇬🇸 from 2019

A lovely mixed bag arrived today including my first ever Caicos Island covers. These are from 1985. Also a great pair from Somalia 🇸🇴 issued in 1959, a pair from Tunisia 🇹🇳 and singles from Guernsey 🇬🇬, Tristan Da Cunha, Niuafo’ou, India 🇮🇳 & Greenland.

3 new covers today. 2 from Guinea-Bissau 🇬🇼 which looked better quality in their photo than on their arrival. These are from 2001. Also a German 🇩🇪 cover from 1998 with the full set of 5 stamps on.

Estonia 🇪🇪 produce some fantastic covers and the latest one released last week doesn’t disappoint. Also 21 new covers from Japan 🇯🇵 taking my total to 660 Japanese bird covers. The best is the large 2022 cover with 10 different bird stamps 😍

After no new covers for quite a few days 2 new fdc’s arrived today. A 2014 New Zealand 🇳🇿 cover featuring the Pukeko or Australasian swamphen (Porphyrio melanotus) is a beauty but not as nice as the 2025 Falkland Islands 🇫🇰 cover featuring the Gentoo Penguin (Pygoscelis papua) 😍

Today’s new arrivals. 4 from Jersey 🇯🇪 made by Mercury, 6 privately made covers from Greece 🇬🇷 & a single from Argentina 🇦🇷

Another new set of Vatican 🇻🇦 covers arrived today. This set of 8 stamps from 1989 are spread over 4 covers & are produced by Capitolium. Also 3 new covers from Saint Pierre and Miquelon (2 shown). These are from January and feature the Pectoral Sandpiper

Very happy to get this today. Niuafo'ou 🇹🇴 is the northernmost island in the kingdom of Tonga. One of the Niua Islands & located in the southern Pacific Ocean between Fiji and Samoa. Its from 1998 & features Blue-crowned Lorikeets and is just visually stunning 😍

A nice set of German 🇩🇪 bird covers arrived today. From 1963 & they feature Hoopoe, Bullfinch, Kingfisher & Golden Oriole. Strangely the envelopes have completely different bird species than the stamps they feature 🤷🏻

A good day today. Received my first Bernera island 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 covers today. I’ve bid before but never won. 2 from 1978 & 1 from 1981. Also 5 Australian 🇦🇺 covers from 2026. These feature Endangered Birds are privately made.
