Retired gentleman,with lots of opinions.

All-round bon vivant.
Sometimes gym rat.

Love yourself
...... fearlessly.

It's not an easy existence , being a Leaf fan , and watching the Leafs do their Leafy things ; but somebody's got to do it .
I have a love/hate relationship with them.

I learned , over time ,that the Northern Inuit , several generations back , had a diet almost exclusively , 90% fish.
Seniors ,in their mid 80's , still had jet black hair.
Fish contains a high concentration of omega 3.
There are no secrets to life
........ just good observations

Halifax was such
a decrepit and run-down city ,
right up until the 1960's ;
compared to how excited
and vibrant it has become.

People who wear
Life Jackets,
while on the water,
show respect for their life.
.... besides ,,,,,,
that is the Law !

Love listening to the old rock & country music , on CJFX ,Antigonish.
But I also like the more modern rock and country music on The Hawk , Port Hawkesbury.
When you begin to think that the only good music , is from the past , your brain dies.

Boycotting Loblaws may be a waste of time
& energy.
It's more like the distributers & producers , who are causing all the havoc & un-godly increases in prices & product shrinkage.
It's a vicious cycle & you have to attack all grocery stores.
..... but we still have to eat !

The New York Yankees , bans any beards on their players
............ a rather juvenile requirement.
Something like , where the High School coaches
require their players to wear ties , while they're on the road.
Some don't even know what a neck-tie is .

THE BEANS FROM BEAN TOWN WILL BE IN TORONTO TONIGHT. THE LEAFS WILL CARPE DIEM THEM. WEEE'LL SEE !

The gym is my Happy Place

The inevitable will happen .

If you think fossil fuels are going to be completely shut down by 2035 , you're dreaming.
Gas will be a transition fuel for several decades , after the 2030's.

Are Americans hockey-sophisticated ?
Questions for man-on-the-street :
What is icing ?
Butter & sugar for frosting.
What's a five-hole?
Just after a four-hole.
Yet, U.S. Teams keep winning the Stanley Cup.
It's been 30 yrs. for Canada.
Thanks , Gary Bettman !

I don't know who should get the prize in " Canada's Got Talent " ...... the Judges or the Contestants .
The whole thing is well choreographed and over-hyped !

I was surprised to find out that most young people cannot tell time on an analog watch or clock.
They can only tell time on digital watches or clocks.
also.....
most don't know how to write or cash a check.
The things you find out when you're old !
