Ben Hodges is a complete idiot. The fact that he made to the rank of general instead of running a military band explains why the US got kicked out of Afghanistan by goat herders.
As to the GUR murdering Russian commanders, well, that is a game that two can play. Remember how Stefan Bandera died? Or the idiot who stole an helicopter and betrayed Russia? Fully expect members of the GUR to die over the next decades. By the way, Budanov is probably a dead man walking.
@AdrianP_doc Source: your butthole. Even rabidly russophobic Mediazona puts Russian deaths at 150k to 200k. The Soviet Union lost 480.000 killed and missing in Stalingrad. Now tell us how many Ukrainians were killed. Wartears puts the number of at least 850k KIAs.
And so what? It was a drone that deviated from target because of damage or EW. Perhaps an Ukrainian false flag. But what would you do? Replace Trump with a John McCain respawned straight from Hell. What would the US do? Fight an open war against Russia? First, the US cannot defeat Iran and the Houthis. Second, everyone knows Europe is expendable. No American president will wage an open war against Russia because of some wounded people in Eastern Europe.
@frontlinekit Ukraine will get 16 outdated Gripen C/D, no better than and F-16. Gripen E/F with AESA radars only after 2030. The SU-35 is far more capable than those older Gripens.
@MFA_Ukraine I bet nuclear superpower Russia is trembling at this idea. Imagine being prosecuted by some nobodies that cannot defend their borders and their women from rape.
Perhaps you should defeat Iran or the Houthis first before talking about a house of cards. Just saying. I mean, you have to agree that the Ukrainians are damn tough, well funded and well supplied. And the AFU during the first year of the war outnumbered the Russian force fighting in Ukraine. Even so, the AFU suffered more than one million KIAs, far more than Russia. But in 2025, humble Houthis kicked a US carrier battlegroup out of the Red Sea and the Iranians are in the process of evicting the USA out of the Persian Gulf. House of cards?
You are a moron. Ukraine has killed thousands of civilians on purpose. No missiles going astray, no debris hitting houses by accident. Deliberate murder. I have been following the war since day one. Ukrainians butchered old people in Kursk, have been targeting Donetsk since 2014. Thankfully, the Ukronazis are being buried by Russia.
Point number one: Ukraine murdered 21 students in a school. Multiple hits against a civilian target. It was not a malfunctioning drone, debris from an intercepted drone, an air defense missile. There were no military targets nearby. It was deliberate murder by your dear Ukronazis.
Point two: Russia has enough nukes to turn Europe into a giant parking lot. You can say anything bad about the Americans, but they are not stupidly suicidal to risk Washington, New York and several big cities for a drug addicted clown.
Nope, the tide is not turning. The Ukrainian armed forces are no longer replacing its casualties. The attrition war worked for Russia. But you cannot understand that concept, you are always waiting for some epic battle to crush evil Russian orcs. It will never happen, Russia has outlasted the Ukrainians.
@anders_aslund Close the Ukrainian air space with which air defense systems? Europe cannot protect itself even from cheap drones. Most of Europe has zero protection against air strikes. Perhaps you will protect Ukraine with a shield of good vibes?
@McFaul Ukraine killed 21 students 2 days ago. Multiple drones hit a school full of sleeping kids in Luhansk. Work of terrorists, I dare say. What about that school in Iran? Surely only terrorists would double tap a school and murder 150 girls.
@P_Kallioniemi Sure. Ukraine's factories, warehouses and command centers were catapulted to intercept all those missiles before they reached the ground. Ukraine is not the shield of Europe, it is a black hole were Western weapons and money go and vanish forever.
Nope, Russia is winning. Putin never wanted to conquer all of Ukraine. I doubt the Russians want to pave roads and fund heathcare for neonazis in western Ukraine. What the Russian wants is the Donbass, which is mostly under Russian control now. And prevent Ukraine from entering NATO or hosting NATO weapons such as land based Tomahawks. Guess what, it will never happen. Either Ukraine agrees never to enter NATO in a peace deal, or the war will end in a frozen confict which prevents Ukraine's entry into NATO anyway.
