@QwannyMon@DredgenZeta03 I think we can officially say that Titans probably got the short end of the stick with this one, the Hunter Aspect is really cool from what we can see in the trailer.
Unless more information comes out in the dev article later, and it's not just Khepris Horn in Aspect form lol.
@Tahnit@DestinyTheGame That's the portal to the pale heart. But yes, they should have made a new model with the portal present. Though, I guess it could be handwaved as being on the other side of the Traveler.
@_f_rog@ChaosHusk@Destiny2Team AH, I see what you mean now. I suppose it depends on if the charge is used up or partially used upon using it without hitting an enemy. Also, if you're activating it off a ledge.
If it can be spammed, I can see them locking it down. Just so it doesn't become a ic dash equivalent
@QwannyMon@DredgenZeta03@Destiny2Team I'm referring to OPs "dats it???". And they don't have the least amount of abilities, it's relatively equal across the 3 classes.
It's just silly.
@DredgenZeta03@Destiny2Team They're not usually comparable in terms of leathality, utility and what they actually do.
Just wait for the abilities article on Thursday, there will be a little bit more :)
@DredgenZeta03@Destiny2Team The Warlock ability is an Aspect. The Titan ability is the reworked WoD, which is a super. And this Hunter ability is a melee. There will be an Aspect for Hunters (and Titans). If we're seriously ranking the amount of new abilities, Hunters are receiving the most in this update.
@concept_null@Destiny2Team The Supers have been relatively strong in PvE since the last lot of buffs. It's not a bad option.
The melees have been a major pain point in PvE for years, since they only have melees built for utility, not leathality. It also seemingly gives an OS. A new melee isn't a bad idea.
@isOracle_@NikoWasTakenGG@Destiny2Team Seconded, it would be awful from a gameplay perspective. It's important to have visual confirmation in heat of the moment situations. I'll inspect in 3v3, but inspecting in 6v6 gamemodes is just annoying. It's not fast on console either. Forgetting a name could cost you the match
@Destiny2Team Is that the Narrow Escape medal on the Titans chest?! That's really cool. I assume the other emblems are also medals as well, I'm just forgetting names.
I love those Warlock robes.
@soren7763@Pijinnn_ I don't see them giving it a good damage perk. It'll probably be a utility/stat perk. With celestial, it has one of the highest swap DPS values in the game. Sustained isn't bad either. Even though non-celestial damage isn't as high, they won't want to inadvertently buff celestial
@ChIMeRaTeX@Pijinnn_ That would actually make a lot of sense, those sort of options would be the most sensible. It already does a significant amount of swap DPS, particularly with celestial. And I don't think they'd want to buff that further, especially since this is the final sandbox balance pass.
@Skarrow9 I'm assuming they'll nerf them in some capacity? There's no way they bring them back with entire room clearing capabilities. It invalidated everything. Unless I'm forgetting a nerf they received before being removed? I vaguely remember a nerf. But not the details of it.
@mootballfetlong@LukeCB14 I think I recall something like that being the case, but I don't think it was under active development. Just something they wanted to do in a proposed gambit revamp. We're getting a set bonus though, so it might draw some inspiration from the roles/abilities the prime armour gave
