#SPLC2022@splcconf@miguelijordan@danstrueb@szschaler
4 years ago I promoted to discuss the creation of a Universal Variability Language (UVL), now is included in Feature IDE and I am trying out by myself. So happy! @splcconf#splc2022
v3.9.0 has been released with numerous enhancements for UVL models and improved performance for the translation of feature models into CNF:
https://t.co/bkRkdl14Pk
The release is joint work by University of Ulm and University of Magdeburg.
v3.8.3 is released with several improvements over v3.8.2. In particular, features can be deleted again.
It is available on the update site and as prepackaged Eclipse: https://t.co/JKiTM1s4Ih
Release v3.8.2 is joint work by University of Ulm and University of Magdeburg.
v3.8.2 is released with several improvements over v3.8.1. It is available on the update site and as prepackaged Eclipse: https://t.co/ak2F12rtjH
Release v3.8.2 is joint work by University of Ulm, Harz University of Applied Sciences, and University of Magdeburg.
@FeatureIDE The prepackages are now available under https://t.co/tpHW1WtL1L.
While the prepackages require Java 11 (due to Eclipse), FeatureIDE does not and happily runs under Java 8 in older Eclipse versions (e.g., 4.16). Consult the wiki (https://t.co/M8NoFISFWw) for more information.
@ChicoSundermann@ekuiter@ThomasThuem@h3ssto Release v3.8.1 is joint work by University of Ulm, Harz University of Applied Sciences, and University of Magdeburg.
Most of the contributions have been developed by a team of four master students in a software-engineering project at University of Ulm.
v3.8.1 is released with significant improvements over v3.8.0. It is available on the update site and prepackaged versions will follow soon: https://t.co/HHa88Feb7v
We strongly recommend the update as prior versions produce wrong analysis results for certain feature models.
Release v3.8.1 contains contributions by Benedikt Jutz, Chico Sundermann (@ChicoSundermann), Elias Kuiter (@ekuiter), Johannes Herschel, Kevin Jedelhauser, Rahel Arens, Sebastian Krieter, Thomas Thüm (@ThomasThuem), and Tobias Heß (@h3ssto).
Do you use FeatureIDE v3.7.0, v3.7.1, v3.7.2, or v3.8.0?
We found a critical bug in the translation of feature models to conjunctive normal form, which causes WRONG ANALYSIS RESULTS for certain models. Please update to v3.7.3 or v3.8.1.
