@FedexStrike People—we are still not being taken seriously. If you want to be heard, contact @VanessaCNN . She’s building a story for us, but needs more input!
@sam_digregorio@FedEx If you go to work and you have a confirmed case of COVID-19, I suggest going to work. If you’re asymptomatic, you should be ok. You have bills to pay and the CDC isn’t going to pay them for you. It’s a huge dilemma that Fedex workers have to face
@FedEx@FedExOffice SHAME ON YOU!!!!!! HOW YOU CAN STOMACH THE LIES THAT FLOW FROM YOUR TONGUES EVERY SINGLE DAY IS BEYOND ME!!!!! TEAM MEMBERS ARE BEING GIVEN PERMISSION TO TAKE ONLY 2 WEEKS OFF AT THE EXPENSE OF THEIR HARD EARNED VACATION DAYS/PTO
Employees are only offered to use their paid time off (sick days/vacation) or unpaid leave if they choose to self quarantine due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
@FedexStrike It’s the end of the fiscal year. We have none or very little to cover for the days one may be potentially out. They need to provid us with at least another 5 paid sick days.
@FedexStrike At our station, we're basically experiencing another peak season with the amount of volume we're getting in bc of the self-quarantine. Couple that with a lack of care from management, I'm not confident at all in how our station will handle the virus when it inevitably gets to us
@FedexStrike Oh and no hazard pay for breaking our backs during the pandemic is also a really nice message to send to employees, but hey, guess us grunts aren't on the know to know basis huh
Delivery workers and grocers, deemed critical by the government, risk exposure during the coronavirus pandemic. Companies like UPS and FreshDirect say they're following CDC and WHO guidelines for social distancing and hygiene.
