India's population is about that of all the Americas (North and South) together combined with Western Europe. Almost five dozen odd countries together have say 1.4-1.5 billion people, same as just India.

Now imagine if you wake up and read about all the terrible news in the entire Western Hemisphere (ex-Africa, but also adding some regions). Murders, rapes, accidents, scandals etc. And you form a view basis that.

This is what is happening to people who are consuming too much news off social media where virality needs are pushing algorithms (no Indian oversight here, only American - and for TikTok, Chinese) to accentuate the bad.

Please get a perspective. An accurate one, not a ugly one or rose-tinted one. Just a balanced and contextualised one. And please take care of your mental health.

Anyone who posts pro or even neutral to India type content on social media will realize just how deep the hatred & obsession of our fellow South Asians is towards India.

They are intimately knowledgeable of Indian faultlines, domestic anti-Indian (opposition) rhetoric, & the tropes that encourage fragmentation & anti-Indianism.

YouTube especially was revealing in just how vicious and mass this maliciousness is amongst the average Pakistanis & Bangladeshis towards India.

Definitely talent pipelines, fabs, OSATs, design, and demand are being stitched together at scale. But execution will continue to be the hard part.

-3nm isn’t just fabs, but we need EUV access, deep supplier depth, yields, and brutal cost discipline.

-AI sovereignty means models + chips + energy + data. Need to see how we scale here

1. Gujarat (Semiconductors)
- Up to 70% capex support (state + centre)
- 75% land subsidy in Dholera
- Power at ₹2/unit for 10 years

2. Tamil Nadu (EV & Auto)
- 100% SGST reimbursement on EVs till 2030
- 15-20% capex subsidy
- ₹48,000 per employee per year (EPF support)

3. Uttar Pradesh (Electronics & Logistics)
- 10-year GST exemption for large projects
- 100% stamp duty waiver
- Power capped at ₹2/unit

4. Karnataka (Aerospace & R&D)
- Choice of 25% capex subsidy OR 2.5% PLI
- Plug-and-play A&D parks
- Extra grants for R&D-linked manufacturing

5. Maharashtra (Mega Manufacturing)
- Incentives up to 100%+ of capex over time
- 50-100% SGST refund
- Stamp duty + electricity duty waived

With this on the table, not building in India is NOT a choice.
