Quarterfinals G1 saw the Fusion take an early lead in the 3rd and never looked back. Johnny Bench with 3 hits, including a 2B and a HR, and 3 RBI. Joe Ryan pitches 6 innings with 10Ks and only 1 run.

In G4, Panthers' Jazz Chisholm Jr. hit 2 home runs, and Fusion offense just couldn't hit Luis Castillo. Panthers win 6-2.

Back from our Twitter hiatus to announce that we have won the west division, with a record of 10-6, and are the number 3 seed in the playoffs for the Clutch postseason league! We cannot disclose the exact location of the team plane, but we will be facing the Sacramento Panthers.

We now head to the semifinals to face the Indiana Maize. They are a fierce opponent, earning the #3 seed and sweeping their last matchup in dominant fashion.

But the Fusion aren't scared. These guys have gone to four straight semifinals. They've been there before.

A quick update on how we've been doing:

In the first round of the playoffs, we were up against a former champion, and fellow Washington native, the Sacramento Panthers. In a series that was much closer than it appears, we won the series 3-0.

In the second round of the playoffs, we faced the #2 seed Oxford Longhorns. With a 2-1 series lead, we played a grueling game 4, a game that went 11 innings and saw both managers completely exhaust their bullpens. But a walk off home run by Ty "Baguette Bat" France won the series
