- The Vets are pulling in Drew and Barret. The group seems really tight AND well hidden.
- The Trio of girls is not tight but everyone thinks they are.
- Haley, Kamu, Chuk think they are way more liked and connected then they actually are.

My read: Melody is paranoid about her position in the house. She accidentally painted her, Lyric, and Mallory as a trio. Mallory's on the block and Melody doesn't want to be associated. She's looking for new allies.

I think Devens is misreading a defensive move as offensive.
