@thesimplejoys@sopranerina yes really! i don't love it, to be honest-- too far away from things and too clearly built for cars instead of people (why do i have to walk across a highway to get groceries??) :/ but it's quiet and cheap and the transit access is good!
NOTE that these credits are not directly applicable to my degree!! this is six courses/13 credits that i took in a completely different field! so i'm not sure it would prove much for grad school admissions?? why would a psych department care about music classes
who here has gone to grad school?? i have a dilemma.
i COULD move from chicago to my incredibly boring, incredibly isolating former college town and face my past demons and go from a 1.21 GPA to a 1.70 in one semester...
OR i could stay in chicago.
if i get all As on every class i can feasibly retake (total across my degree), i could go from a 1.21 to a 2.89
if i get all As on only the ones i can retake online, i could go from a 1.21 to a 2.41
a 2.41 vs a 2.89 feels like a huge difference!! but it would be AWFUL!!!!
So Mississippi just introduced a copycat law of the Tennessee trans ID law, but with the addition that any cop that sees ur ID doesnt match ur natal sex has to report you to FUCKING ICE
@thereisnobeth Let's not forget that this conversation only hit the mainstream because Josh Duggar used it as an excuse for sexually abusing his siblings in the deeply abusive baptist family where multiple people sexually abused their siblings and the parents covered it up
@MmePapyraceus oh hell the fuck no and double because i live in a city. these shoes have seen the jackson street piss tunnel, they do not need to contaminate my indoors floors
