Very distressing to watch this news story today- the highest rate of homicide occurs in babies under 1. It’s the same every year… yet services that can protect children from harm face ongoing real term cuts.

The NHS on New Year’s Day is literally running out of oxygen. We have so many patients in corridors we don’t have enough portable oxygen cylinders. Drs are being asked to conserve OXYGEN.
