Lots I could say about the @alzheimerssoc film that everyone is talking about. This is one example from LinkedIn. If you want to watch the far more balanced @DementiaUK film that I reference, it’s here: https://t.co/mBR5GSOHPg
Reading Wendy’s last blog with such sadness but such admiration for her leading the way in helping us talk more about death.
Grateful to have worked with such a fantastic woman, who brought so much joy to every room she entered.
This beautiful farewell letter from the incredible @WendyPMitchell has to be the most powerful case for an urgent change to UK law on #AssistedDying. A talented & courageous woman, Wendy Mitchell has left an enduring legacy in her books, films & blogs. @dignityindying#dementia
If you never met @WendyPMitchell she kindly chatted to me after the pandemic, always an advocate for research. Incredibly sad her time has ended, perhaps a legacy could be research into dignity at #endoflife with #dementia her final words are important.

RIP Wendy @WendyPMitchell so sad, absolutely devastated … if you don’t know anything about Wendy then I would definitely recommend you read up on her story and buy her books. She was an inspiration to many #dementia
Such powerful words from Wendy Mitchell.
We're thankful for her tireless campaigning to put choice and control at the forefront of healthcare, as well as her good humour.
She was an inspiration and will be greatly missed.
What a woman! @WendyPMitchell for as long as my memory serves, I will remember you. And feel braver. RIP My final hug in a mug…. https://t.co/FjDNy6xjzR
I’ve met lots of people living with dementia over the past 13 years I’ve worked in the field. Wendy @WendyPMitchell was one of the first and probably the nicest and most passionate ladies I ever met. Tireless, always willing to help, always willing to talk about her experiences even when the disease was taking its toll, always an advocate for the importance of research
Working in this area, it’s easy to become a little detached, but this news and reading her words is the first time I think I’ve been brought to tears in a very long time.
She touched so many people through her work in #dementia, and I’m honoured to have known her. My deepest sympathies go out to her daughters and family.
If you do one thing today - read Wendy’s last words #RIPWendy

Everyone at Dementia UK is deeply saddened to learn of the death of @WendyPMitchell. A tireless campaigner, Wendy’s writing and work helped many people understand what it is like to live with dementia, as well as giving a powerful voice to those living with the condition.💙[1/4]
This is Sarah and Gemma, Wendy’s daughters. Our mum died peacefully early this morning. She wrote a blog post before she died so you can read about it from her perspective.

@PaulHusband_@tonyhusband1@Ncknwmn@PrivateEyeNews I am so sorry to hear this. I knew your Dad through the wonderful work he did raising awareness of dementia. Sending love to you and your family 😥 xx
Great to be joining @UOD_SONM for #DerbySept20 on their last day of the program.
A bit nerve racking having to speaking in front of a room this full but forever grateful to @Feezeemouse for the invite.
