Free Palestine is a proxy for Iran. The Palestinians are Hamas, and they’re funded by Iran

Julia Gillard, chair of Wellcome, used the Fiji pre-COP to warn that extreme heat is already harming pregnant women and babies. The warning rests on a survey Wellcome commissioned and a campaign Wellcome is running.

Heat is a real strain in pregnancy. Making it a COP priority is a choice about narrative, not a clinical necessity.

In 2013 the Gillard government deleted the Sex Discrimination Act’s definition of “woman” as a member of the female sex, and added gender identity.

The same political class that now wants “pregnant women” written into climate plans has spent years swapping “mother” and “breastfeeding” for “birthing parent” and “chestfeeding.”

Biology is fixed when it serves the climate brief, and negotiable when it does not.

Julia Gillard is no advocate for women.
