Felidae is working to monitor the distribution and population of pumas, Pampas cats, and Geoffroy's cats as they face additional threats from overgrazing and hunting. We work with local communities to identify high-risk areas and raise awareness about the importance of wildcats.

An exciting new study in India mapped the distribution of jungle cats throughout the country. Details showed that jungle cats require more than just a dense jungle ecosystem, needing warm, open landscapes with a moderate amount of rainfall. 1/4
