Multiple times per day, my paraplegic cat signals to me that she wants to climb one of her cat trees, so I hook a finger under the waistband of her diaper and hoist up her backside, and she immediately takes off towards the closest tower and front-paw parkours to the top.

@VolfMech It's not what I envisioned. Neither in my late teens, nor in my 20s. But I like it. :)
A colleague of mine also changed careers in her early 30s.

@VolfMech … I couldn't find another job for almost a year (just two awful offers), I scratched everything and looked for apprenticeships. Got one in IT, and busted my arse off to "graduate" in 2 years (instead of 3). Couldn't stay at my company, but got a job through a classmate.
