@Kalil_R91 As headteacher I do it. I am on the gate on time every morning showing how it’s done. As I was through the playground I see staff members doing as I’ve done. They pick it up if you lead by example.
@oasis whilst queuing it would be good to know how many tickets are left and how much they are. Saving everyone their time. Queuing since 8.45 and still 120000 in front of me. Am I wasting my time?
@MissEmmaTurner As Head I cannot say come in later. I cannot encourage late nights and potential drinking- which can cause issues with many of my families. Very sad.
@lifeatthenest applied for a girl who started self harming. ok to sit the tests but clearly anxious & distressed inside. They told me I should have applied for a timetable variation for the next week. Because isolating her from her friends so not to discuss the tests would definitely help 🤦♀️
@dave_mcpartlin I think it’s great and often discuss your coffee shop and one day hope to do something similar. I’d genuinely love to learn more about how you do it all. We have a huge deficit. So I’m all for any tips you can share. Well done Dave.
My year 6s swim at a nearby leisure centre every Friday. This Friday one of them had their new trainers stolen. It was Wear what you want day, so he wore his lovely new Nike 270s.
The only shop that has them in stock is @schuh can you do me a deal on a new pair for him 😬🤞
@TeachingYear6 So strange I hard exactly this situation. Our lad when half way across the city! The bus driver called, the child was so upset. I went and got him and we started on time 💪
@Luke78226997@tombennett71@RogersHistory @Strickomaster @PastoralThings Shocking. Never meet with this parent alone again. Seek support from Legal team asap. I’d even ask the LA to support a managed move on the grounds that the relationship is irreparable.
@WhistleblowingT I don’t allow this at my school. It’s one appointment unless there’s a court order/ injunction. They can also opt for a teams appointment / phone appointment. But it’s one per family.
