@JMB_Racing@joshtoole91 But thatβs the job of a trainer! To place your horses to best effect. But your tweet suggests Iβm one of the worst trainers in the country. Those two horses were placed brilliantly. Luther could have won a Group 2 in England for 50k. Instead he went abroad and won 300
@JordyLake@joshtoole91 Thanks mate. Any yes, very disappointed with my team on a domestic front but we did win over 600k outside of England including first past the post in a classic and a Group 2 win at Americaβs biggest turf racing festival. Not to mention Lutherβs 4th place the Poulains
@JMB_Racing@joshtoole91 Blimey thatβs a bit strong!!!! I had 40 horses this year and won a classic in France and a 300k Group 2 at Saratoga. 2 of my 3yr olds finished in the first 3 at Group 1 level from a crop of 20. Sadly didnβt have the depth this year but still donβt think thatβs bad going
Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmasπ
Hoping you have a wonderful time with loved ones (and raising a glass to those who are sadly no longer with us).
Best wishes for a healthy, happy and peaceful 2026π₯

Thank you so much to all the @BasherWatts shareholders for their Xmas presents for my lads. Bring on 2026 and another Group 1 win for Sheβs Perfect π
What was in 'the best interests of racing" was for The Jockey Club to have taken Kempton seriously in the past 25 years - a racecourse located in Greater London that has a train station right by it.
To see what Invades has achieved in a short space of time - getting thousands of young people to low-key tracks/racedays just shows how appallingly Kempton has been left to wither and die by the organisation that has a Royal Charter to act in the "long-term good of British racing."
I fail to see how they have lived up to this responsibility, in this case. It is nothing short of a disgrace, and a dereliction of duty, that Kempton may go to the dogs.
Derek Snaith has been with me since my first year as a trainer. He has been a rock throughout the highs and the lows! If anyone deserves recognition for their services to this sport itβs him.
Delighted that Sienna has made the shortlist for the Newcomer award. She adores her horses and rides beautifully. A shining example to anyone entering the industry
Delighted to be back in Dubai after a couple of years off. Lovely team of 4 horses have arrived safe and sound. Hoping for a big run from Gorak on the dirt on Friday
@FellowesRacing@BRSNewmarket Just a big shout out to horse trainer Charlie Fellowes. Last week i wrote an email raising one pertinent issue. Charlie was kind enough to respond promptly - with some insights into the world of horse racing. Head bowed. Thanks Charlie
