- politically & personally opposed to Donald Trump - but takes a selfie anyway. (Maybe this one is real?)
- felt the need to get a lot of selfies. I think the teenagers call this type of person a “pick me”.

The government is soft on terror. Today’s reported arrest in Melbourne of a Somali-born alleged ISIS extremist is confirmation that radical Islamic terror is festering in Australia.

After the worst terrorist attack on Australian soil last year, the government is still downplaying the threat of radical Islam.

This alleged terrorist is accused of being a member of ISIS and providing instructions to others on how to plan and carry out mass casualty terrorist attacks.

The country has watched as Tony Burke has allowed alleged ISIS members back into Australia while secretly facilitating the return of more alleged ISIS fighters.

The Prime Minister refused to call the threat what it is: radical Islamic terrorism.

Australia’s national terrorism threat level remains ‘probable’, meaning there is a greater than 50 per cent chance of an onshore terrorist attack or attack planning within the next 12 months.

First the Albanese government refused to name radical Islamic terrorism in the days after Bondi. Then they were dragged kicking and screaming into calling a Royal Commission. But they made sure it wouldn’t properly examine radical Islamic terrorism.

Labor is still refusing to release the Bondi video manifesto because they are too scared of being honest with Australians about the threat of radical Islamic terror.

The Prime Minister is too busy jetting overseas to receive a ‘Global Citizen’ award, while the Home Affairs Minister is missing in action and didn’t even front the press conference today to answer questions.

National security starts with being upfront with the Australian people. The Home Affairs Minister needs to front the Australian public and start telling them the truth.

It is completely unacceptable for the The University of Sydney to allow a student political group to run for council elections under the banner, “Globalise the Intifada”.

This is an explicit term calling for a violent uprising against Jews by people who have made public their support for Hamas.

The Bondi Massacre last December in which 15 innocent people lost their lives is exactly what ‘Globalise the Intifada’ means for Australia.

This is a line in the sand.

In the face of this explicit call for violence on Australian soil our Prime Minister cannot remain on the sidelines; the NSW Premier whose heart has been in the right place on these issues cannot remain too timid; and the University of Sydney Vice Chancellor who did not do enough to protect students and staff from harassment and hate after October 7 cannot remain in denial.

It’s high time for our leaders to act with the courage, moral clarity and strength our country urgently needs. There can be no if’s or but’s. This move to normalise the dangerous and deadly term ‘Globalise the Intifada’ must be stopped.

After the deadliest terrorist attack in Australia’s history and with a Royal Commission into antisemitism currently underway one would think there would be no need to bring attention to this issue.

But the fact there is shows how much more work we all need to do to become more cohesive as a society and how much better our leaders need to be at upholding their first and fundamental duty to all citizens, keeping us safe.

Channel 9 flew a reporter to the United States to sit down with a Ku Klux Klan grand wizard for its latest smear on Pauline Hanson.

Hanson called it disgusting and a new low for the Australian media.
