The most heartwarming thing happened today , Daughter was watching "Pikachu's Goodbye" episode and at the end I noticed she was balling her eyes because Ash told Pikachu to stay , having to comfort her and telling her everything was gonna be okay was a wao moment as a father.
My classmate was raped on her way back home from university and got pregnant, but couldnβt get an abortion due to the laws. She had to drop out of university where she was studying medicine. Because of pregnancy and childbirth expenses, she couldnβt continue her studies, left college, started working at a coffee shop, lost the fun of her early twenties, and lost the chance to attend international medical conferences she once dreamt ofβ¦ all just to give birth to a child she never wanted.
People say, βWhat if the baby you abort grows up and cures cancer?β
Okay β but what if the 19-year-old you deny an abortion to grows up and cures cancer?
Now she canβt afford to get an education. Instead, she has to take care of a baby. What about her? An actual living human being???
βAbortion ends potential lifeββ¦ So do property disputes, war, and genocide. You only seem to care about lives when women donβt give birth to them.
What's so amazing about Jim Henson as a puppeteer is that he could literally be explaining that Kermit is made out of felt and ping pong balls and yet Kermit still feels alive the whole time he's doing it!
