@RealDianeYap@rob_avis_ramble I guess this would also apply to other things? Asking a man to do something they do not want to do, day after day, would also be harassment? Let’s apply equal standards and make the statement gender neutral, shall we?
@RealDianeYap So are you saying selfish volatile personality parents who can’t even maintain a ceasefire with someone they used to love might just somehow negatively impact their children? That harm may occur regardless of marital status.
@Wacamole_fun@TheDankInformer It’s always a matter of valuation and portfolio allocations. That’s why people run 60% equity / 40% bond portfolio and then in a recession where it flipped to 45% equity / 55% bond, they rebalance by selling bonds and buying equities to get it back at 60%/40%.
@elonmusk Biden signed a 5 year contract with unions on work from home. Why doesn’t trump sign a 20 year contract giving DOGE private corp approval authority on all government employment agreements? Deep state oversight needing efficiency approval before ANY pay hikes, hires, etc.
@AlamusPrime@2lohaymmah@snmrrw I don’t know about you but my tax return didn’t come with a service contract for what I’d get in return for my taxes (chuckle)…
@AlamusPrime@2lohaymmah@snmrrw Why should someone get something extra because of where they decide to live? Fair and equal treatment for each taxpayer instead of creating another special interest group yelling “Give me special treatment”?
@Savannah_FDS@MarkRichardson2 The problem is when many bottom 30% woman don’t want bottom 30% of men because they have “standards”… Unrealistic expectations will leave a lot of people unhappy in the end.
@xpatuk@LaGrecca333 It‘s different for men. I was in the same boat at 42. I got on the dating apps and 2.5 years later married with a 4 month old. There are *plenty* of late 30’s ladies out there willing to marry you and have kids.
@MakeTexasBlue22 Yea, you know why the Netherlands can pay out 90%? Their social security system invests in pension funds that buy STOCKS and BONDS. Their returns trounce the US’s social security return on investments.
@Chelipepper_ @JohnnyLoveless I remember when Biden had both houses too. Did you get your leftish agenda passed? These republican and democratic coalitions are not all voting together on many issues…
@allenanalysis So you would be fine when the federal government or republican states start aiming fire at all liberal companies operating in their states? Weaponizing political viewpoints to hurt shareholders of companies they may not agree with? Sounds like a great recipe for a strong US econ
@TrueNolan@astewart42 @Finn000000000 @cremieuxrecueil Tax people more if they live in cities and use funds for people who live outside cities. Make it a very expensive luxury to live in the city and the volume who live there will start to shrink. If you really want to solve the fertility crisis, something like this may be needed.
@astewart42 @Finn000000000 @cremieuxrecueil Studies have consistently shown that birth rates in cities are MUCH lower than in suburbia or areas with less population density. The solution is simply to reverse the trend of growing the population in cities and start creating incentives for people to leave major urban areas
@astewart42 @Finn000000000 @cremieuxrecueil It’s not capitalism. It’s the growth in pleasure and independence. I know many wealthy 30-40 year olds who don’t want kids at all. Why? Because it would impact their freedoms, their travel, their shows, their eating out with friends, their fun. They view it as a sacrifice.
@RealDianeYap 36 Trillion debt divided by 335M population = 107k per person. Shrink the population, workers and economy by half and see what happens --- Thats a lot of debt per person.
