If you have a graduate degree and associated loan, earning from £100-£125k you'll pay:

40% tax
20% loss of personal allowance
2% NI
9% undergrad loan
6% grad loan
= 77% tax = £5750 in your pocket

But you'll lose childcare allowance (~£6k per kid) and tax-free childcare (£2k per kid)

So if you have a couple kids?
