Thank you to parents and students who attended our event in The Fern last night. Many new books were purchased and we had a chance to discuss reading at home in our workshop. The book fair is with us until Tuesday if students are still hoping to buy a book! @Scholastic
The mural @SuthersSchool is complete! It represents the students time at school and beyond, with flying birds giving the sense of journey. The windows each show a view into @Nottswildlife reserves, which the school houses are named after.

We celebrated National Poetry Day in KS3 English lessons today by trying blackout poetry before drafting our own poems in line with this years theme on The Environment! #NationalPoetryDay

On the eve of National Literacy Day we’ve issued over 100 library passes for students to access The Fern during lunch times. We can’t wait to officially start having students using the space in free time next week. 📚
