Suspending habeas corpus isn’t about immigration, it’s about silencing opposition, removing judicial review, and conditioning the public to accept state-led abuse.

Trump and his inner circle, particularly Stephen Miller, are using fear to justify this erosion of rights. This aligns precisely with the BITE Model of authoritarian control:

- Behavior Control: Mass surveillance, detention without trial
- Information Control: Discrediting legitimate media, restricting access to dissenting voices
- Thought Control: Rewriting narratives to frame cruelty as “law and order”
- Emotional Control: Instilling fear, rage, and helplessness to maintain loyalty

If this proposal moves forward, it will mark a turning point! Where authoritarian rule is no longer creeping in, but openly announced.
