Peddling “net zero nonsense” is as dangerous as Climate denial. People like Anderson and Sunak simply seek personal gain from this - it should be illegal. https://t.co/Bkxk6GBwUe
United Utilities has turned on jacuzzi mode for Easter Sunday in the #lakedistrict !
The EA is permitting up to 1.1 million litres a day and up to 13 litres a second to come out of this pipe. Langdale WWTW, where the pipe originates, has no UV disinfectant, so this likely contains a whole host of bacteria, viruses, parasites, etc., that you don’t want to be ingesting if you’re swimming in the river.

@Feargal_Sharkey
@SleepyJim0 I’ll tell you why, because many have lost hope.
Many realise that there is no collective action so everyone is doomed. You can scream as loudly as you want but if a significant majority don’t act now (and they won’t) all is lost.
@KemiBadenoch Potaytoh potahtoh
I will rejoice for each and every one of you who will be ousted at the next general election.
Tory liars, grifters and press barons’ puppets…the lot of ya!!
#ToryGaslighting
People banned from travelling more than 15 minutes. "Blanket" 20mph speed limits. Meat taxes. Fake gay refugees. Jews terrified of Sadiq Khan.
The Conservative party has simply become addicted to lying. It lacks the competence or integrity to make an honest appeal to voters.
@CDotTweets@Haggis_UK I mean, even after Thatcher they voted them in again…and this last 13 year stint is worse than she ever did!!
How low is the bar?
Over the course of their reign of error, the Tories have grown the national debt from £1 trillion to £2.5 trillion.
In the same 13-year period, we have witnessed crumbling schools and hospitals, increasingly leaky water pipes and sewers, and other widespread structural failures.
There have been no big infrastructure projects to point to and say "ah, that's where the money went..."
So from the beginning of time until 2010, the nation debt grew to £1 trillion.
From 2010 until 2023, it grew by an additional £1.5 trillion to £2.5 trillion.
And yet if you look around, you can't really see where most of the money has gone.
Tory cronies must be sleeping on beds made of gold.
Have so few ever stolen so much in so short a time before? The only thing I can think of that might compare was the dissolution of the monasteries under Henry VIII. Not exactly a great bedfellow.
@bringiton8712@Martin020455@Nigel_Farage Oh pfft…”freedom of speech”
He’s been whingeing in public every single day 🤣🤣🤣and who really gives a shite he can’t bank with the royal family anyway, just like the rest of us plebs can’t bank with Coutts??
@CDotTweets They’re all riding on the “migrants” narrative.
Tbf they have many more displaced people than the U.K. can ever imagine seeing.
And it will only get worse as extreme temperatures drive people around the globe.
@mercer_felicity @carolvorders @bundy201065 Your party picks on the most vulnerable in society: the aged, the disabled, the young and those fleeing persecution…we hate the ideology and also those rolling it out.
That would be the likes of you and hubbikins, check his voting records if in any doubt.
