John Hughes called Ferris Bueller’s Day Off his love letter to Chicago and I tried to experience the adventure first hand on Friday. I’ve been wanting for a while to attempt going to @SkydeckChicago, a @Cubs weekday game, and @artinstitutechi all in one day. But I felt like doing it right…going to every Chicagoland Ferris Bueller filming location IN PLOT ORDER that the trio travels to. A detailed spreadsheet with help from the legendary @FerrisFile guided the day. Thanks to the others who joined in on the fun and thank you @skydeckchicago for helping out with tickets. I can’t wait to try this against next year (and actually finish on time by “six sharp”)
