Our student @yvemagedans recently defended her PhD. Well done, Dr. Magedans! And we are happy to announce that she just started working as a postdoc in our lab. Great news!
Officially Dr. Magedans!! What a beautiful day!! Thank you to @agmagedans for being there for me! Thank you to Arthur @FettNetoLab for being the greatest supervisor ever! And to all my lab colleagues, you guys rock!
Likely one of the most expected activities of the day at #rafv2021! come in 30 min and meet the editors of great journals. We will learn where scientific publication is going.
Feliz dia do biólogo e da bióloga! Este foi o quadro branco da sala dos alunos no @FettNetoLab por algum tempo! 🙃 Happy Biologists day! We kept this in the white board of the students' office for a while.

Tomatine is a saponin secreted by tomato roots! The authors found out both saponin and aglycone could reduce the diversity of soil microbiome. But they did not affect the abundance of a bacteria family that is commonly associated with tomato plantations. Pretty cool article!
Did we just had an online Secret Santa? Yes, we did! It was a little hard, but we pulled it off! It was a time to celebrate companionship and good science with @FettNetoLab@FelipeMaraschi1 Ricachenevsky Lab and Palma Fett Lab!

Congrats to @lfrevers, @FelipeMaraschi1, @VitorFalavigna and team on yet another push towards a better understanding of bud dormancy in apple trees. Refreshing insights from a genome-wide look at apple BRRs and how they can translate CK stimuli into molecular responses.
