Place OF CJ Kayfus on the 7-day IL in Columbus (R flank soreness).

Transfer INF Juan Benjamin from Columbus to Akron.

Transfer RHP Sean Matson from Akron to Lake County.

Place RHP Wes Burton (right elbow soreness) on the 7-Day IL in Hill City.

Place OF Guy Lipscomb on the Development List in Akron.

@CovertheCorner Dion went one inning today. He's just a middle reliever nowadays, filling innings as required.

With Espino and Aleman never pitching on back-to-back days and Walters seemingly injured again, they're short of bullpen production in AAA and sometimes need to extend Dion's outings.

@bkato505 @CoachDombrady @_CLEology Allen walked six(!) over the weekend and has done nothing in AAA this season to justify a promotion.

They're still going to give Cecconi a few more starts to see if he can turn things around. Given that timeline, Peterson definitely has a shot of leapfrogging Allen.
