In one timeline, Ribbit and Jax would’ve kissed if Kaufmo hadn’t interrupted them
In another, if Jax didn’t have so many issues, Ribbit and Pomni probably would’ve made out
Meanwhile, in the real timeline, Jax and Pomni end up together in the end
so.. FunnyBunnyFrog canon? #tadc
@Josh69326651 I don't think Jax is gay or trans; he's just a boy with masculinity issues.
The series' final message—about the need for men to express their feelings rather than dismissing them as "girly stuff"—seems well-crafted and fits his character better.

Why Jax ISN'T trans... and here's why 🧵
Before anything else: this is NOT an attack on trans people, nor am I trying to invalidate other interpretations.
This is simply how I read the character throughout the series. If you disagree, that's totally fine.
@StephanieG95180 I took a look at your profile and saw some of your drawings... don't give up, your drawings are amazing—actually, you should post more..
@canknotnot I try to derive my perspective directly from the show itself and build my interpretation based on that; for example, I’ve always seen Jax as a guy struggling with fragile masculinity—hiding his feelings because he thinks doing so is feminine, weak, and so on.
@canknotnot I don't usually trust what Goose says, I normally ignore, Goose always makes fun and doesn't seem to care, answers everything with jokes, so goose never been a good source of information.
She's even joked about it before, stating that he was bi or cis.
@PrideRing666 I believe that in any case, Jax would be "He" throughout the entire series, whether or not he's trans at the end.
since he only accepts himself in an alternate version of Goose's art that isn't him, but rather a good person.
@CanOfGames@I4x4Alex02@martyG1214 It's crazy, it just happened and I just wanted to debate with the person, they just called me transphobic and blocked me.
I don't think that's a good approach since the issue they're pressuring about is acceptance, and dealing with everything by resorting to insults doesn't help

@pdafoot28721@jkfupacc Where did he explicitly say that he is trans?
Because of that joke art about what he would be like in a parallel reality where he becomes something he's not??
Hmm... I think it's best to start disregarding what the author says, since she doesn't answer anything seriously.
@coSLvyp3DhgwTbE In the end, I realized that the discussion is pointless if it's just people insulting each other.
I always try to express my idea and be open to interpreting the other person's idea... But usually they just start by insulting me lol
@pdafoot28721@jkfupacc Wow, why so much aggression? Did this really affect you? So, following your logic, all the characters must be trans since the author is too...
Or just her self-inserts?
Caine is a self-insert too, so...

"She took her clothes off and put a bow on one of your appendages because she wants to be INTIMATE with you, not because she thinks you are a girl, retard. She was FLIRTING with you, dipshit."
@PringleMcDingle@AngelicCreatir I agree! If you really stretched it, you could flip the narrative—except for one detail. Jax’s goal was to end the argument with his mother, not prolong it; revealing that he is trans would have just started another argument, which is why my perspective makes more sense to me..
@Bees_Hivee Literally the opposite.
Ever since he was "confirmed" as trans via a meme-style piece of art, what I see most often is cute fan art of him.
