There’s something happening right now that I genuinely don’t understand. We’re playing just one game a week, sometimes two at most, yet our injury record seems to be getting worse.

Under Amorim, the situation improved a lot. Players like Luke Shaw and Mason Mount became more available and reliable. But now, despite having fewer games, the injuries are becoming more frequent again. Mount has practically disappeared, Shaw looks like he’s heading the same way, and we haven’t even mentioned Martinez.

Before anyone twists this, I’m not putting it on the head coach. This falls more on the medical and conditioning staff. The physio department needs to do better with player conditioning, and recruitment should also prioritise players with stronger injury histories.

Yes, the results look good. But outside of that Mancity and Arsenal performance, where is the clear identity?

I haven’t seen anything structurally better than what Amorim was building. It’s mostly counter-attacks, moments, and individual quality.

And if we’re being honest, that’s the exact formula that fooled us before.

That works in short bursts. It doesn’t win leagues and the Champions League unless we are just comfortable qualifying for the Champions League every season.

United can’t make the same mistake again - giving a permanent job off a good run without asking bigger questions.

We need a coach for the next five years, not just the next five months.

If we’re serious about competing in the Premier League and Champions League, vibes won’t be enough.

The discourse surrounding Kobbie Mainoo since yesterday is one worth highlighting. A lot of them made it about Amorim when people were just raising valid concerns. Guys not everything has to be about Amorim. No one is gonna prove Amorim right about anything. He is no longer our coach.

I noticed 3 section of fans , the ones that know him for what he is , the ones who stan him but saw the same thing as the first section and said the truth and the ones who do not see any wrong at all from him.

I read a lot of commentaries and especially that of his stans. “ who do you want to play ahead of Mainoo, Ugarte? “ the boy is very young and has a lot of years to improve” . The fact that you made mentions of he improving and asking who is to replace him alone tells that if there was a better and proper midfielder available he goes back to the bench if he doesn’t improve a lot in his game. The funny thing here is you all are saying he needs to improve, but the previous coach said same thing and you all went for the kill.

I have said it here before sometimes it’s not that as humans we don’t know or accept the truth , the problem we have is the one telling the truth. You knew the truth but you just didn’t want to hear it from the previous coach.

I watch Mainoo and most of the time he just does the basics of football. He is supposed to dictate play from his position as an 8 as well but NO that’s not what most of us see. Bruno in the 10 position still have to drop to the 8 and receive the ball to progress it.

People are not noticing, but look at the team , are you guys aware in all the positions on the field , it’s only Mainoo that has no competition or direct replacement? So whether he plays good or bad , he will still play cos you all talk about balance , calming and controlling tempo. Those words are becoming a cliche now. You people said he was ready , matured and the finished player , do not ask for patience.

I only pray Carrick is made permanent for the sake of you guys , but the Enrique and Nagelsman you lot are craving for , you will tell yourselves the truth when any of them comes in and does the same thing as the previous coach.
