@nine_oh_ Twitter are restricting my API keys after tweets that have "unsolicited mentions". This is against their rules & even a small number of tweets with mentions of a single user is resulting in API key being restricted. Using your own means you can create new key when needed. (2/2)

After a suggestion from @nine_oh_, I am going to re-write parts of the app to allow users to enter their own API keys which they can generate by going to https://t.co/7LY4df080O. (1/2)

@nine_oh_ I think that is the only solution, I'll see what I can do to let users do that within the app.

@RokDrummer Not sure how long for, but fingers crossed the Twitter API moderators don't block the app again!

Note to avoid the attention of Twitter again the app is rate limited to 250 tweets (Twitter limit is 300) every 3 hour period spread across all users. So if you get a try again later message, try again in a few hours.

Latest update to the app will fix recent issues but for how long, I don't know? Twitter have suggested (but when I asked specifically they wouldn't confirm) that only mentions of one user per tweet is allowed. Therefore if that is true, #ff #followfriday is banned from Twitter!

New version of the app has been uploaded with new API keys, awaiting Twitter approval and then posting tweets will work again.

@RokDrummer Working on it with Twitter, the API has been blocked as automatic sending of unsolicited mentions is apparently against the rules.

@SexyHype Hi, yes I've finally sorted it out with Twitter! A new version should be in the Play Store within a few hours after Twitter have unrestricted my original API key.
