Today, the same precedent is repeatedly being used to reopen new disputes. One example is the Bhojshala Temple–Kamal Maula Mosque controversy, where prayers offered for nearly 700 years have now been stopped over claims of temple remains beneath the structure.

Indian Muslim Man to Death with Bat in Front of His Children in Karnataka. 🇮🇳

Rasheed Pasha, a 45-year-old jeep mechanic, was setting up a new garage/shop near Bada Makan Road in Wilson Garden, Bengaluru.

Local extortionists demanded ₹50,000 as "hafta" (protection money). When he refused, an argument ensued in the morning.

The three men returned in the evening around 08:30 - 9:00 PM on March 15, 2026, repeated the demand, and upon refusal, assaulted him viciously with a cricket bat and bamboo sticks.

The beating continued until he was severely injured, happening right in front of his two children. Locals rushed him to a hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries. 💔
