And @LittleRedhoodd ‘s version with Lumine being the main character. That’s it. There’s no other version. He’s just too good. No one else comes close.
People compromising which of their favorite characters to pull on, budgeting their currency for their weapons when games like MegaMan X4 gave you both characters to play, in full, from the start.

Welp. Dual Override looks interesting. They definitely rode the double gear system a bit, almost making it feel samey. However, I’m infinitely more interested in the story.
@_oreosin While I do mostly agree with this, these companies also prey on vulnerabilities present in a lot of people they’ve drawn into their game. Down to a science. And some of those are things people either can’t control or don’t know how to. It’s a shame.
@gjgfuj@5th_Raikage1 As soon as you said meyroidvania, I knew exactly what you meant. Lol Because it’s pretty much how they feel. All the backtracking and thinking about which way leads where. KH1 can trip up a lot of people that haven’t experienced those. 100% chests can be a nightmare
@gjgfuj@5th_Raikage1 When I was a kid, I couldn’t believe how tough and seemingly confusing that place was. There was a night, I had hardly progressed in that place at all despite having reached it the day before. Finding the path to the chest in the sewer was the worst also.

@S0RAL0VEB0T A lot of it comes from the magic they tried to capture of it just existing at the time. It was unheard of, unthinkable that a game like that could even exist. And then it did. The visuals and audio also play toward that as well. But as Sora grew up, so did we and while that magic
