@NFL_DovKleiman "Chicago has agreed to a long term big money contract making Montez Sweat the cornerstone of the Bears defense for the foreseeable future."
"Montez Sweat has not agreed."
@LombardiHimself There's been a lot of blame being put on the DLine, but the DLine can't do anything if receivers are running around wide open all the time.
@49ersSportsTalk@jjones9 Getting tired of 49er fans overvaluing our draft picks. The options are (1) get Surtain and win a Superbowl or (2) draft guys like Drake Jackson and Danny Gray and maybe they'll be good enough to become starters at some point in the future after our superbowl window is closed.
@17gamepace Akers is a HOLD. He's the handcuff for a 3-down back who gets a decent workload and landed as a high-end RB2 last season when he was a starter.
@JustinHerzig Their offensive scheme is garbage and he ranks 40th in "light front carry %", meaning there are 39 running backs in the league who have seen a better % rushes against <8 man boxes. They're trying to establish the run against defenses who know they're not willing to throw deep.
@DaveKluge Variety is the spice of life, for both real football and fantasy football. Otherwise, football might as well just be reduced to the Oklahoma drill.
@NinersNation 49ers opponent third down conversion % is actually just average (just 16th best in the league), and worse this season than last season. I don't believe our DLine or LBs are our weakness on third downs - we need improvements at DB to become an elite third down defense.
