@TELUS@TELUS on the phone for literally days to arrange for fibre for my apartment building (it's already in my parking lot). I've been waiting months. Shaw said they would come just days later wtf! My tenants need options.
@GlobalEdmonton They need to be held accountable for their actions not babied. I've seen people walk out of winners with full carts, and staff don't call police because by the time they arrive, the person is gone and the police do nothing if they're caught .. #Accountability#Justice
@linemansteve@GlobalEdmonton More like those who have trashed and got booted from their rental housing while in a training wheels housing program. The housing system does not work.
@yegwave How many tens or hund of millions are you spending to build a program to replace an existing functional program already in use @GlobalEdmonton this is amping up to be a phoenix
@flatEarther319@yegwave Can't be authoritarian in a box avoiding other jurisdictions... Also think of the duplication (payroll hr accounting admin talk estate vehicle fleet and so much more... So much cost... this will further destabilize us
@yegwave The city is so poorly managed they need to get their lofty fiscally irresponsible dream building under control, the workers are also so frustrated with their poor decisions: it's depressing working in that @AmarjeetSohiYEG@CSU52 how much is enterprise Commons costing???
@Hello_its2023@yawto@troypavlek And in the mean time children will suffer... and the ominous long term effects of a non recyclable battery continues to approach. Electric cars are disposable expensive burdens on both the planet and economically. Plus they're dangerous, they are so prone to exploding!
@troypavlek Thank you! I also feel this way! The union (namely Lanny) is also acting like a hooligan!
This entire negotiation/bargain has made a mockery of real people's livelihood. Almost all in Edmonton are and will be affected by this... As leaders they must show some dignity
@JimmysBackAgain @IAMRockwell @AmarjeetSohiYEG The city takes a loss EVERY TIME they build a new neighbourhood - they can NEVER recoup the servicing costs from prop tax in the natural life of the servicing... Show us the books! @AmarjeetSohiYEG@CityofEdmonton
@AmarjeetSohiYEG The city takes a loss EVERY TIME they build a new neighbourhood - they can NEVER recoup the servicing costs in the natural life of the services... Show us the books! @AmarjeetSohiYEG@CityofEdmonton
@MimiProbably Better to cut unnecessary and unwanted civic projects like renaming Oliver neighbourhood, the talus balls, or bike lanes in random areas... Also urban sprawl is the worst waste of municipal funds...
#Airline Passenger rights in #Canada are a joke! Waiting since September 2023 and now 51k in line! #francepegeot doesn't care neither does @CTA_gc
! Attention @CORE_Ombuds please help us!
@CTA_gc laughable timelines as the airline passenger rights section of the Canadian transportation #francepegeot doesn't care about Canadians... 51,000 ahead of me in line and I've been waiting since September 2023. @globalnews
@troypavlek We also don't have the population to support that many bike lanes or LRT expansion, even with 1 million more people or will still not be enough. Our city is too large land wise. This is entirely utopic and not practical given our budget.
@troypavlek I wholeheartedly agree with Lanny on those two points (LRT and funicular are a joke, a complete waste of money along with countless other projects... replace sidewalks that are totally fine in industrial areas or building granite sidewalks in nowhere to the east of downtown) 1/2
