X removing Communities is EXACTLY why you need to prioritize OWNERSHIP and stop being only a digital sharecropper.

The refusal of Creators and Thought Leaders who monetize their content, to not just PAY to host a community for their following, even a FREE community, is beyond ridiculous.

Monetized Creators not paying to own their own platforms has never made any sense.

Own a website instead of just social media accounts.

Own and sell a product.

Own a newsletter and email list.

Control your data, your content library, and the access to your audience.

If you’re a hobbyist you should still invest into this for peace of mind…

But if you’re a monetized creator, there is no excuse.

I don’t know how many times Creators have to panic and beg platforms, where you have no leverage to not make a change that makes sense for their business… that isn’t great for your business.

If you want control… be an owner.

These platforms should be a funnel, not an end in themselves…
