Over 75% of our brothers represent us in other organizations and clubs, and each year our involvement chair awards the most involved members of the chapter. In addition to this, all members are required to do 5 hours of community service per semester.
Congratulations to all of our new members who were initiated on 10/21/18 after going through the star and pearl ceremonies. Our chapter is now currently 142 strong, putting us in the top quartile of fraternities at Auburn.
Here’s a recent picture of our new exec being sworn in after our November elections. This was also last weekly chapter and affirmation ritual of the year.
We had a great crawfish boil today raising money for Be The Match! @BeTheMatch is an incredible organization that helps patients receive life saving bone marrow transplants. A huge thanks to Voigt-Abernathy for sponsoring the event! #FHexcelsior2018#philanthropy
Sunday night we had a great banquet with guest speaker John “Rat” Riley, received info about plans for the new house from the alumni association, and heard final thoughts from our seniors #foundersday#FHexcelsior2018
At chapter on 3/7/18 the brotherhood heard a speaker talk about the Green Dot program. We learned about recognizing acceptable behaviors, choices as a bystander, and spreading the word about sexual and domestic violence on campus. #FHexcelsior2018
