Just heard back from the realtor that the summer storms caused the build process to be delayed 3 weeks, so we are having to push back the closing date.

I can’t use my mom’s car that long, so we will have to be forced to purchase a car before we close.

I hate to do this, but we are so close to the goal. I hate asking, but I don’t have a choice. Thank you guys for your help.

Signed my title over yesterday. As I handed them the paper, I felt inexplicably sad for a while. My car was the first thing I ever owned. I negotiated the deal myself, paid for her myself, signed for her myself. I was incredibly proud of my car. I am sad to see her go.

On the way home, sun in my eyes, I realized I also left the really nice pair of sunglasses my mom bought me in her sunglasses compartment as well. Unimportant but still sucked.😭

End of an era.
