@Latens_Verax De sände det för det var 40 år sedan Tjernobylolyckan och vi ska komma ihåg det som en historisk händelse. Man behöver inte göra politik av varje historisk händelse.
@thealfordplea The picture above proves you're wrong. European cities used to be car dependant but we managed to make it bike friendly. If Europe can, then US cities can. But it won't as long as American politics choose to build "SUPER MEGA FREEWAY HIGHWAYS" Instead.

@thealfordplea I do live in Sweden.
All of Europe combined is bigger than the US so the "distances" you're talking about comes from "car friendly" city planning. The weather is also less "bike friendly" in Europe than in the US.

@thealfordplea You don't care about what the law says?
Perhaps I shouldn't care about US law either, the way I see it, no one should be allowed to drive a car, everyone bikes to work. That would basically: Prevent 90-90% traffic related deaths. + Prevent obesity, pullution & noise.
@thealfordplea According to google ai: "In the US, bicycles are generally considered legal vehicles with the same rights and responsibilities as motor vehicles." Yes they are allowed there & be healthy, even you like it or not, as you drive to McDonald's.
@thealfordplea Well the further to the right, the better but having that mindset "cyclist should be furher to the right" is exactly what these murderous drivers think when they're about to use their car as a weapon.
@thealfordplea No it's not. Cars come up behind you faster than you think. And also it's faster & safer for a car to drive past a 2x5 cycle group group than a 1x10 cycle group. The driver could have easily been driving further left.
