@kernsac Yes. I'm using a braille display- a mantis to be exact. I forgot the mantis on my device and have no more issues. :-)

Good morning everyone! I hope you all are having a good day.when I use braille screen input on my iPhone 12 pro, the first letter is said correctly, however all subsequent letters are preceded by _. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I am running latest iOS version.

This bug was quite perplexing. Fortunately, the fix is an easy one: head to Settings>Accessibility>VoiceOver>Caption Panel and turn it off.
