@Chicago_History CTA says it's the L. Enough said. El is NYC. And the retail store inside 111 N State St is currently Macy's, which should not be confused with Marshall Field's which used to be there but was a different store. However, the building is still the Marshall Field & Company Building.

@Pres_Chicago @CrainsChicago If Macy's on State was converted back to the Marshall Field's brand, operated by both Macy's and Bloomingdale's! A-win-win-win for shoppers, citizens, and Macy's/Bloomingdale's stockholders.
