@Garbear0II9 We still have hundreds, if not thousands of games that we can play which never used AI. I will gladly never spend a cent, even .0000001 of a cent on a new game if the industry continues down this path.
@hoezayART It honestly feels like art twitter just decided to jump this person for the hell of it lmao.
You could browse r34 for 10 seconds and find 100 similar artworks, but they wanted to kill this mf for whatever reason.
@Rec_A_Dork And they would have never even bothered touching those assets if people didnt call them out. Companies and big studios won’t be sorry until they get found out.
PSA TO GAME DEVELOPERS/PUBLISHERS: I will not buy your game if you used genAI at any point during production, and neither will anyone who likes and RTs this post.
Hope this helps! ❤️
Still used it lmao, I could care less if it was for reference. People have been able to make video games for decades without AI so why the hell do we need to now. ESPECIALLY WHEN WE HAVE HUNDREDS OF INSANELY GOOD GAMES TO USE AS REFERENCES.
【 OFFICAL COMMENT ON AI USAGE IN CRAZY TAXI: WORLD TOUR】
Series Creator of Crazy Taxi, Kenji Kanno, was asked about the use of generative AI in the newest Crazy Taxi. Here was his response.

If you wanna play Crazy Taxi even though it has AI, just remember to PIRATE IT!!!
They don’t deserve your money, and most of all they need to know that they are going down the wrong path.
I don’t care how little Sega has used generative AI, any use of it makes my excitement for any of their things go down the drain. This thing is going to have dire consequences to our world.
What the fuck is even their problem?? They’ve been fine without it. Everyone has.
@Crimson_Spade@SafeButter It starts with placeholder assets then when they think the AI is better than humans will implement it into the actual game. If you give corporations an inch they will take 200 miles.
