It's Sad 😭 Bengal Lost their Emotional attraction.

The attached video shows a man (appears to be an auto-rickshaw driver) sitting in his vehicle near a Durga Puja pandal.

He is speaking in Bengali and addressing Goddess Durga (“Ma”). The speech is emotional and somewhat broken/emotional.

Here is an English translation of the main content based on the audio/subtitles:

“Don’t do that… Give me [the money]. They beat me a lot. I couldn’t even sit properly.”

“They didn’t even give me 30 rupees. I’m a Muslim boy… Why are you treating me like this?”

“Tell me whose side you’re on… I’m a Muslim boy, but the pain in the heart is not worldly pain, brother.”

“But you are the one who gives, Mother.

You know everything, Mother. You do justice, Mother.”

“Give me [what is due],

Mother. This is my right… This is my right. I can’t do any work.”

“I can’t drive this auto. I can’t do any work, Mother.

And tonight I still have to drive this auto.”

“They beat me, but they didn’t give me my 30 rupees, you know, Mother.”

“I have four children. I married off one daughter, Mother, and she is pregnant.

If she needs to eat and all that… today my [situation is bad].”

Mother? I was hired. Earlier it was me, then they didn’t pay.”

Durgapuja is known to us as biggest festival of Bengal.

We are failing to keep this spirit…

ईद और बकरीद पर पूरे भारत में छुट्टी होती है। ये बात कोई काट नहीं सकता।

रेड रोड पर नमाज इसलिए होती थी क्योंकि शाही मस्जिद टीपू सुल्तान वाली के इमाम पढ़ाते हैं।

नमाज कितनी देर की होती है?
05 मिनट नमाज, 10 मिनट खुत्बा, आने-जाने और जमात लगाने में 10-20 मिनट। कुल मिलाकर 30 मिनट का काम। साल में एक-दो बार, और ��स दिन पूरी छुट्टी ( Holiday) होती है।

अब पूजा का कार्यक्रम देखो। पांडाल पाँच-सात दिन (या उससे ज्यादा) सड़क पर खड़े रहते हैं। रोज शाम से रात तक सड़क बंद, एकतरफा रास्ता, लोगों को परेशानी। ये सिर्फ छुट्टी तक नहीं रहता।

तीस मिनट की नमाज पर “गुनाह” और “सड़क ब्लॉक” का शोर,
और कई दिनों तक पांडाल से रास्ता रोकने पर “पुण्य” और “संस्कृति”?

रास्ता सबका है। नियम लगाना है तो दोनों तरफ एक जैसा लगाओ। सिर्फ एक तर��� चिल्लाने से दोहरा मापदंड ही दिखता है।
