I think it’s time to do something with this project.
Backstory:
- Last year, I started the .@Figma2Framer project, the idea was to create Framer components and sections.
- I integrated .@FramerAuth and set up a working system.
- Then I hit Framer CMS limitations, pages were freezing because CMS loaded all items at once. Pagination wasn’t available back then.
- So I decided to wait for improvements.
- A designer reached out for help setting up a similar idea, and I helped them.
- Later, they asked for my assets and ideas, and I shared them.
- After that, I temporarily paused the project.
- Recently, I found out they stopped working on it.
- Now I’m thinking of restarting.
But this time, I’ll simplify everything based on what I’ve learned and considering how much better Framer CMS is today.
A soft launch is coming very soon!
The biggest update is getting ready
So happy & proud of how things are taking shape
(Not live yet + new Home page after a week)
Major changes:
- Went CMS heavy 💪
- Better Component/Section Cards & Pages
- Filters 😍
- User Experience >>>
Please Add shortcuts for (I have been asking)
- Visible
- Overflow
And a bug:
When we duplicate Components, the Variable in the bottom right panel gives errors: Missing (in purple color)
Even if I reconnect them with existing Variables, they don't perform what they meant to.
The current solution is I have to recreate all the Variables again.
Feature: Group delete option for Variables
Revamped and released a big update yesterday 🥳
- Took a while to figure out the Components presentation.
- But extremely happy with how it tuned out
- Came up with the idea of PlayGround, where users can play around and customize Components and then copy them to their projects.
