The Wall of Heroes monument is officially unveiled and I couldn’t be prouder. Proud that the names of those military service members from Miami-Dade County from World War 1 to present day will be recognized by all who visit the Steven P. Clark Center (SPCC). I was joined by community leaders, veterans, and families who came to honor the legacy of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

This initiative was one of the final pieces of legislation I sponsored during my tenure as Chairman of the @MiamiDadeBCC, just before serving as Mayor of the @CitySweetwater. I am honored to have played a significant role in providing such an important piece of history for many generations to come.
