We are committed to ‘caring for our local community’. Our reputation is built on our commitment to personal service and delivering healthcare to your doorstep.
The workload is just relentless at the moment. Overworked and under-appreciated. If you work in pharmacy- please give yourself a pat on the back from me. And if you don’t, please say thank you to your local pharmacy team. Maybe even drop off a box of chocs. We appreciate it !!❤️
Delighted to announce that, following a pilot interim accreditation visit, @TheGPhC has approved the MPharm degree @RGUpharmacy @RGUPALS with no conditions and no recommendations.
Treasury have pumped £350bn (~£6k/person) into the economy to help individuals & businesses. To date community pharmacies have only received £300 for Perspex screens. WE NEED NEW MONEY, not loans, not advances, but real investment. @Jochurchill4 @PSNCNews #covid@NHSEngland
The #WHO on Tuesday acknowledged "evidence emerging" of the #airborne spread of the novel #coronavirus, after a group of scientists urged the global body to update its guidance on how the respiratory disease passes between people.

Contractor colleagues hope you manage to have a break this summer as from Sept you and I will be very busy dealing with: Flu, KYN week, CPD, ?Brexit, ?SSP, CPCS, PCNs, AYP week, all the audits/training for PQS, winter pressures and Xmas! In addition to daily contractor life 😱
BIG NEWS from @BootsUK. Let's hope they're right that they can redploy all the affected staff. And no, they won't tell us which specific branches will be closed
I get that Government wants something different from pharmacy. But that will require investment to change, so if it’s serious about a network (particularly in rural areas) it needs to rethink its strategy of financial strangulation.
Think carefully before you register for #pharmacy2u. The service is not what it seems, you loose control of how your medication is received and the charges are outrageous, which you find out after delivery
Been doing my staff appraisals/PDRs this week. Always get them to do a SWOT analysis as pre-work to get them thinking about their development. This particular comment has made me feel quite sad. Whilst as an owner I’m worried about my future, mustn’t forget the impact on our team
@CandDJamesW The funding is absolutely fundamental. The Good Samaritan couldn’t have done anything if he didn’t have the means. I welcome GPhC spot checks but if I’m not paid correctly for what I supply they won’t have a pharmacy to spot check
Ok, so Govt gives £14m ferry contract to company with no ferries.
Closer to home, I’m happy to sign a deal with @DHSCgovuk to supply all of the naproxen I can get. I mean I can’t actually get any, but that is apparently mere detail these days.
@blmerriman@Tabithapusscat @CandDJamesW I absolutely agree. How pharmacy2u got away with false advertising, false promises, and breaching confidentiality rugulations is beyond reasoning. It is about time they are exposed for what they are!!
