WHO NEEDS AIR PATROLS WHEN POLITICIANS HAVE PRIVATE JETS?
Philippine Coast Guard spokesperson Jay Tarriela said it was “disheartening” to see a legislator owning multiple air assets while the PCG operates with only three fixed-wing aircraft and two helicopters for maritime patrols.
His statement came after the DPWH asked the AMLC to freeze the air assets of companies linked to Ako Bicol Rep. Zaldy Co, including a Gulfstream jet and several helicopters.
Co is also facing allegations in Senate hearings of inserting billions worth of flood control projects and pocketing kickbacks—including cash allegedly delivered in suitcases—through contractors and engineers. He has denied the accusations.

Badlit for breakfast! Been practicing Badlit or Suwat Binisaya lately. A cousin to Baybayin, Badlit was used to write in Bisaya languages. They're both abugidas, not alphabets, like our neighbors - Khmer (Cambodia), Jawi (Brunei & Malaysia), Lao (Laos), etc...
