@RetroMoviesDB He is underrated? Since when? I am SHOCKED!
Ok some of his roles certainly are (I am looking at you, Fringe) but Chernobyl? No way that can be underrated.
@stargazetae I don’t want to shamelessly plug my own series which is essentially all yearning :-D i would suggest
The rest of the story (Sarah Dessen) for a YA version
Pride and Prejudice (definition of yearning) if you can do classics
Ready or Not (Cara Bastone) if you don’t mind pregnancy
@liteararytea Two of @BrandSanderson ‘s secret novels fit that very well.
Bith wholesome romance. Not much kissing (or more)
Tress of the emerald sea
Yumi and the nightmare painter
First is fairy tale like
Second is anime-style forced proximity
@kelvinmacgregor That is not even 1/3 of it :-D but the horror wing is elsewhere. Then arguably the best books like Different Seasons always somewhere out in the world with various borrowers ;-)
The fantasy wing of my Stephen King bookshelf. It is fairly obvious those books are quite worn :-D and that wear doesn’t include listening to the great audiobook versions
Am I the only author on the planet that will absolutely tinker with a chapter for a day to make aure those two scene breaks don’t leave orphans on a page?
@AleksandraLeci2 It is never black and white. By all means be creative, that is the whole point. Then again, prehaps try giving your names to 2-3 strangers to try and read (without any intro) you may be surprised by the results
@MattFieldUK Writing in English from Czechia can be a bit of a pain :-) but hopefully I can capture at least some of the local market of foreigners. Especially since my series is about Expat life.
